BIODISC™

A comprehensive spine functional restoration service

The physician will want to complete a full medical history review and go over all prior imaging scans taken. Next an annulogram/nucleogram will be administered to help to accurately identify the source of your symptoms and condition. This will allow for the physician to determine if your discs are abnormal and are leaking. This is a more accurate diagnostic approach than an MRI imaging test.

How Can BIODISC™ Help?

With our service, we work to help with your current health situation, while also keeping your future health in consideration.

Degenerative Disc Disease

BIODISC™ is a regenerative service that helps to promote the growth of the disc while also sealing the disc tears.

Herniated Disc

BIODISC™ can help relieve your discomfort and pain and return you to a pain-free lifestyle.

Annular Tears

BIODISC™ can help repair the gradual wear and tear of vertebral discs to fix the damage done to the disc.

What is BIODISC™?

BIODISC™ is a much less invasive service, with a much more shortened recovery period than a more invasive procedure, such as spinal fusion surgery.

Intra Nuclear Stem Cell Injection
The physician injects bone marrow concentrate injections sourced from your very own body, including bone marrow concentrate bone marrow concentrate injection therapy or platelet rich plasma therapy, which will help heal the damaged spinal disc, and prolong the longevity of our BIODISC™ service.
Intra-Annular Fibrin Sealant
After injection of bone marrow concentrate injections into the spinal disc nucleus, the physician will inject your own natural biologic sealant, called platelet rich fibrin, into the torn disc annulus. The fibrin will help to seal the bone marrow concentrate injections in the disc nucleus, prevent further the leakage of the damaged spinal disc, and prolong the longevity of our BIODISC™ service.

Why Choose BIODISC™ over Spinal Fusion?

The spine is meant to move. Spinal fusion does not support the natural movement of the spine, and in fact does the complete opposite. The idea does seem straightforward: stopping movement stops additional damage from occurring. However, the reality is, stopping movement in a spinal segment places greater stress on adjacent segments (above or below the fused areas) of the spinal column, creating more damage in the process.

The number one determining factor whether or not a fusion surgery will deliver the desired reduction in pain is an accurate preoperative diagnosis, meaning a diagnosis that clearly identifies the underlying cause of a patient’s pain. Identifying degeneration of other changes in the spine is not sufficient-the diagnosis needs to identify that those changes in the spine are actually causing the patient’s pain. Many people have a bulging disc, herniated disc, and other issues with their spine, but no pain.

So why are doctors not recommending other options?

The answer is simple. Once a patient goes through with their first spinal fusion surgery, the average spinal fusion patient is worth somewhere between $250,000 and $750,000 in insurance payouts over the patient’s entire lifetime .

Stop suffering from chronic back pain and repair damaged spinal discs, while avoiding invasive back surgery.
