Dr. Haider PhotographNameer Haider, M.D.

Dr. Haider has been practicing Medicine since 1990, and has been a leader in the field of interventional Pain Management in New York for over ten years. Dr. Haider is a graduate of King Edward Medical University. He completed a surgical internship at East Carolina University Medical Center. Dr. Haider was then a resident at Long Island Jewish – North Shore University Medical system of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he served as the chief resident in his last year.

He holds board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and two separate board certifications in Pain Medicine, one by the American Board of PMR/Anesthesiology and a second by the American Board of Pain Medicine. He is well known as an international expert in the field, using cutting edge technology to treat spinal and skeletal pain. He is also involved in the development of state-of-the-art medical devices used to treat pain. Dr. Haider is a pioneer in the application of many new minimally invasive treatments. He regularly lectures at international medical conferences, and his research appears in leading medical journals.

Dr. Haider has served as the president of the New York State Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, International Spine Intervention Society, North American Spine Society, North American Neuromodulation Society, International Neuromodulation Society, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, American Academy of Pain Medicine, and the American Medical Association.

As an academic fellowship director, Dr. Haider is involved in teaching other physicians the latest surgical techniques. He is licensed to practice medicine in five states, and holds clinical/surgical privileges at Virginia Hospital Center, George Washington University Hospital, and Georgetown University Medical Center. He has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia, providing physician and patient education. Dr. Haider is one of the foremost international leaders in Spinal and Peripheral Neurostimulator Implantation and Discography.

 

Dr. Churchill PhotographAustin Churchill, M.D.

Dr. Churchill graduated from Cornell University Medical College in 2000 after completing her undergraduate degree in biological sciences at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY in 1996. She completed her internship at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT, an affiliate hospital of Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center.

Following internship, Dr. Churchill entered residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at St. Vincent’s Hospital in New York City, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. After Residency, Dr. Churchill moved to the Virginia area and worked in a group private practice doing spine and pain medicine for one year before spending the last several years doing a combination of in-patient rehabilitation medicine at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA, while continuing with out-patient physiatry and musculoskeletal pain management. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and was also recognized as one of the top PM&R Doctors in Northern Virginia Magazine for the years 2011and 2012.

Dr. Churchill joined our practice in May 2012 to pursue her interest in pain management. She is expertly able to diagnose and treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal and neuropathic pain disorders. Dr. Churchill performs soft tissue and joint injections as well as nerve blocks, and is developing her skills in fluoroscopic guided and ultrasound guided injections to obtain improved outcomes. Dr. Churchill treats musculoskeletal pain, neuropathic pain, and also has a special interest in pelvic pain.

Dr. Churchill is dedicated to a multidisciplinary treatment approach to pain management.. She is known among her patients for being thorough, attentive and sympathetic.
